Bernal Heights is a residential community in San Francisco, California. This neighborhood is named after the Bernal Heights hill that towers above the San Francisco skyline. Located on top of this hill is a microwave transmission tower. It is located south of the Mission District in San Francisco and bounded by the following streets: Cesar Chavez Street, San Jose Avenue, US 101 and I-280.
